Cima Presanella mountaineering ascent

The ascent of Cima Presanella via the Normal route is a challenging yet rewarding alpine experience, ideal for those seeking a spectacular summit in a high-altitude environment, with breathtaking views of Trentino’s highest peaks and the Central Alps.

Starting point: from Val Nambrone - Malga Vallina d’Amola, reach Rifugio Segantini (2373 m), the starting point of the ascent. Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

On the second day from the hut, the trail climbs on mixed terrain, crossing rocky sections, via ferrata and snowfields. The final stretch follows a ridge with rocky passages, leading to the summit of Cima Presanella (3558 m) with its characteristic cross. The view is breathtaking!
