Cima Tuckett mountaineering experience

The ascent of Cima Tuckett along the Normal route begins at Stelvio Pass (2757 m). From the pass, the route follows the path in the lower part of the Vedretta Piana glacier up to the Livrio refuge. From the refuge, the route continues across the Vedretta di Madaccio Glacier (Madetsch Glacier), navigating moderate snow and ice slopes. The ascent proceeds towards the East ridge, where mixed terrain (rock and snow) must be negotiated to reach the summit.

The climb to the summit of Cima Tuckett can also be done from the North ridge.

From the top, the views are exceptional: Cime di Campo, Trafoi, Thurwieser, Ortles and Gran Zebrù can be admired. This ascent is ideal for those seeking a rewarding high-altitude experience with breathtaking panoramas, without excessive technical difficulties!
