The Aiguille du Midi to Aiguille du Plan traverse can be reached from Chamonix, taking the Aiguille du Midi cable car which takes you to 3800 m above sea level. Aiguille du Midi to Aiguille du Plan traverse is one of the most aesthetic ridge traverses in the Alps. A perfect mix of snow, ice, and rock climbing at high altitude.
