Brouillard Ridge - One of the wildest and most technical routes on Mont Blanc!
The Brouillard Ridge is one of the most challenging and spectacular ascents of Mont Blanc (4809 m). This complete route follows the entire ridge, starting from the Aiguilles Rouges du Brouillard to the summit, traversing a long and complex series of towers, sharp ridges, and mixed climbing sections.

It is a great classic route, extremely long and technical, requiring excellent physical and technical preparation, experience on rock and ice, and efficient route management.

The Brouillard Ridge Integral is an extraordinary route for expert alpinists, a unique journey through one of the most remote and demanding ridges on Mont Blanc:
one of the wildest and most demanding routes on Mont Blanc, a true mountaineering experience;
a mix of highly technical rock and mixed climbing, requiring a broad set of skills;
a major physical and mental challenge, a long and complex adventure with few escape options.

Route Overview:

Approach
The ascent starts from Val Veny, with a long approach up to the Miage glacier.
Then follow the steep ridge to reach the Aiguilles Rouges.

Climbing the Brouillard Ridge Integral
The route begins with the ascent of the Aiguilles Rouges du Brouillard, featuring technical rock climbing.
It continues along the Aiguilles du Brouillard, a series of towers and sharp ridges with mixed sections.
After passing Punta Baretti (4013 m), the route becomes more exposed and complex to Mont Brouillard (4069 m), Col Emile Rey (4030) and Pointe Louis Amédée (4470 m).
Steep ice and mixed sections lead to the Bosses Ridge.

Final section and Mont Blanc summit
The last part follows the Bosses Ridge, the final stretch leading to the summit of Mont Blanc (4809 m).

Descent
The descent is usually via one of the Mont Blanc normal routes at the discretion of the Guide.
